The Twilight Series

My best friend Whitney has been trying to get me to read the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer since this time last year, but I must admit when she told me it was about vampires I wasn't compelled to start them. So the year went by and suddenly everyone I knew was reading these books and telling me how great they were. My boss was talking to me one day and told me that she just started reading the best book and sure enough it was Twilight. Well that same day my friend Paola chose it for our book club and I was actually excited to read it and see what all the hoopla was about. I picked it up the next day and.... snap I was hooked! I couldn't put it down, I finished it in less than a few hours and immediately picked up the second, and then the third. Finally I was on the last book and couldn't wait to see how it all ended. Unfortunately for me, I was not as impressed by the last book as I was with all the others. I would tell you why, but there are plenty of people that are reading it and I do not want to spoil it. Don't be discouraged by my not liking it though, there are plenty of people who loved it, I just wasn't one of them. Even though I wasn't a fan of the last book, I am still a huge fan of the series as a whole and highly recommend the books, they are so good and super quick reads. I am actually really bummed the series is complete. I wish there were more books in the series because I am not done with reading about a couple of the characters. I AM excited that the movie is coming out soon! The trailer looks pretty good! I can't wait to see how it all comes together with the book. :-)
